Chief Executive at Music in Hospitals & Care

    Barbara Osborne is Chief Executive of Music in Hospitals & Care, a charity delivering specially created live music experiences that improve health, wellbeing and connection for people across hospitals, care homes, hospices and community spaces. Since joining in 2018, she has led a team reaching hundreds of thousands of people transforming their experiences of care.

    With more than 25 years’ experience in the voluntary sector, including roles at Myeloma UK, British Heart Foundation and CHAS, Barbara brings senior leadership experience across fundraising, marketing and health.

    As part of the panel, Barbara aims to share reflections on leading purposeful digital change, balancing investment and competing priorities, with a people-centred perspective on how technology and data support Music in Hospitals & Care to expand reach, improve inclusion and evidence impact.

    As a music lover, Barbara has been lucky enough to experience some amazing live music experiences both personally and professionally. When not immersed in music, Barbara enjoys reading and hanging out with her dog, Millie.
