Mike Clancy
Mike Clancy is general secretary of Prospect, a trade union representing more than 147,000 professional, technical and creative people in both public and private sectors.
Mike has over 30 years’ experience as a trade union officer, including ten years serving as an employment tribunal member. Mike is also a member of the Trades Union Congress executive committee and the general council.
Mike holds a degree in law, an MA in industrial relations and an MBA (Cranfield). He is a chartered member of the Institute of Personnel and Development and has held several board level positions in government trading funds and the skills environment. In 2019 he was appointed as a Trustee at People’s History Museum in Manchester.
In his spare time Mike is a keen footballer and Everton fan.
