Jenny Peat
Jenny Peat is a dynamic and results-driven fundraising leader with over a decade of experience in the charity sector, currently serving as Director of Income and Engagement at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care. In this role, she leads a team of over 100 across fundraising, retail, marketing and communications, generating £13 million annually to support vital hospice services. Jenny also led the organisation’s recent ambitious £6 million capital appeal to build a new hospice, combining strategic oversight with a deep understanding of donor engagement and income diversification.
Previously, Jenny was Head of Community and Events Fundraising at Sense, where she managed a £1.6 million income budget and led a team of ten. Her tenure saw a 79% increase in community fundraising income, innovative development of peer-to-peer fundraising products, and enhanced supporter journeys that significantly boosted event and in-memory giving.
Jenny’s career also includes senior roles at Livability and Cancer Research UK, where she built and scaled fundraising teams, developed multi-year growth strategies, and led high-profile events like the London Marathon with record-breaking results.
